Skills Bahrain

Accountancy in Bahrain is a rapidly growing sector that plays a vital role in the country’s economy. The sector is part of the largest non-oil contributor to the national GDP, the Financial Services sector which accounts for 17.8% of the total GDP in 2023 (1.).

The Accountancy Sector Skills Report was developed through a comprehensive methodology, including international benchmarking, in adherence to the International Labour Organization guidelines, and in consultations with a Sector Working Group representing key players in the industry, to gain deep insights into the specific needs and the dynamics of this sector.
